Which ideas did you like and why?
I think Rudy is on to something with the coding idea, there are many such online courses as well as IT network courses (http://www.skilledup.com/articles/free-online-cisco-training-courses)
I really like Valerie’s passion to push the education with pointed details. The assessment tool (DVE) making it fully comprehensive is a really good idea. I also like Ayia’s TD Bank partnership for financial literacy and I also liked her workshop idea for individuals with criminal background.
Are there any ideas you could build on to help you stay ahead of the curve in your practice area?
I totally think we can build on Rudy’s online tech learning idea. We could assign a few individual contributors volunteers to plan, design and run a pilot. We could also buy a few licenses or work out a deal with the school or software company. 2. Thinking about innovation more broadly at Fedcap, post a response to one of the two following questions: - What role does "product development" play at Fedcap? For example, GetReady! has been an effective web-based tool. Are there other tools to develop?
- How can Fedcap leverage its business relationships in more effective ways? Social networking on search engines for people finding jobs, seeking treatment, etc…
