First & foremost, I'd like to thank Doug for taking the time to participate on our call and share some of his insights with us. I look forward to hearing more from him!
MY QUESTIONS
1a.) Sometimes, innovative ideas are met with skepticism and considered to be "foolish" by naysayers inside and/or outside of an organization. For some, this could lead the innovator to develop a sense of doubt about their idea(s), and stop in their tracks. Can you tell us about some of the push-back you received when you first started to discuss the idea of opening the Daily Table?
1b.) As we all work towards developing our innovative leadership skills, can you offer some of the techniques you use to overcome doubts while also motivating others to buy into your vision?
2.) The idea to open Daily Table was incredibly innovative, what are some ways you encourage the company leadership to promote continued innovation among their employees?
