I was really intrigued by the idea of conscious capitalism and this notion of doing business with purpose. I agree that is a powerful way to engage a range of stakeholders and to generate interest in something much bigger than dollars and cents. That being said, it is impossible to remain in business without profit. As you are approaching your first year since the launch of Daily Table, what story does profit tell?
If profit proves to be another engine to drive the mission of conscious capitalism and/or the Daily Table, what comes next (besides expansion)? In other words, once there is potentially more revenue, thereby suggesting more freedom and power to do things differently or better, what changes and or other innovations might you consider? Have you thought about bringing in any new voices to shape other ideas? If so, how would you go about the process of identifying new people to shape future directions?
Thanks for sharing your time, your wisdom and your ideas with us!!
